April 20 & 21 ... Deschutes Land Trust Walk For Science Led By Martha Lussenhop and Jen Zalewski

The Messy Business of Environmental Restoration

For more than 20 years, the Deschutes Land Trust has worked to protect the forests, meadows, and creeks that Central Oregonians—people and wildlife—need to thrive.

During that time, we’ve directed much of our energy toward conserving Central Oregon's Whychus Creek. Why? We are inspired by a vision of a protected and revitalized Whychus Creek—an ecological and social centerpiece of our community.

These hikes will give you a chance to see how our work is progressing. A beautiful walk!
